Where Emotions Find Their Frame
Hey, I’m Soumyadeep Arinda — the face behind The Faces We Meet.
While I talk a lot through my photographs, here’s a little about me in words.
I grew up surrounded by the art, poetry, and nature of Santiniketan. I studied at Visva-Bharati University, where Tagore’s spirit still lingers in every baul song and every sunlit red path. That’s where I found my lens — not just the physical one, but the emotional one through which I now see the world.
I’ve always been drawn to real things — unfiltered emotions, fleeting glances, shared silences. That’s why I became a candid wedding photographer. I want to give people the kind of memories they didn’t know they needed — moments that feel like whispers of time, not just documentation of rituals.
What I Do (and Why I Do It Alone)
I work solo.
Not because I have to — but because I want to. When I show up at your wedding, it’s just me and my camera. No distractions, no instructions, no big team. Just someone who’s quietly present, catching moments that often go unseen.
I believe that wedding photography is not about grandeur — it’s about grace.
It’s not about poses — it’s about presence.
Whether in the earthy calm of Santiniketan or the vibrant rush of Kolkata, I aim to photograph your day the way it felt — not the way it looked.
The Faces We Meet
This isn’t just a name.
It’s a belief: that every face we meet carries a story. And if we’re quiet enough, open enough, we get to witness it.
My page, The Faces We Meet, is a reflection of that — a place where I let my photographs speak for me. You won’t find flashy captions or trending hashtags. Just real people, real stories, real moments.
🤝 Let's Meet
If you're someone who values emotion over excess, presence over performance — then maybe we’re meant to work together.
Let’s meet — and create something unforgettable.
